I may have jumped on the blogging bandwagon, but my reasons for being annoyed with the Web 2.0/TechCrunch crowd still remains and I think you summed it up beautifully with “C’mon people, there’s only one Web. It’s the same Web!” Yep! It’s the same Web with better tools. The term “Web 2.0″ is pure marketing hype. Blame it on the flacks!! haha! They are just trying to bring back the dot-com days. As fun as it was (and it was fun), I’d rather leave it in the past and just enjoy the evolution of the Web as it continues to evolve for better (and worse in some cases).
